Who am I? I (James A. Meyer) was born in September 23, 1974 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Carl and Cheryl Meyer, who I love dearly. Reading, PA is about an hour and a half northwest of Philadelphia. Laura is my wife of eleven years and John is my ten year old son. John zealously takes time to explain to anyone who will listen Yahweh's plan for salvation. Veronica is my five year old daughter. John, Veronica, and Laura are blessings from Yahweh for many reasons. Laura has been learning the scriptures now for about eleven years and thankfully she is a wonderful helpmate. In 1982 my family left the Assemblies of Yahweh in Bethel, Pennsylvania. My dad's brother is Jacob O. Meyer, for those of you with that question. The last time I saw my uncle was in 1986 at a wedding of one of Jacob's sons. My dad and my aunt, Mildred Deck, have been disowned by their brother Jacob O. Meyer. I was too young to remember the details of this split but it is still a division in our family. In 1982 my family started attending in Frystown, Pennsylvania with Yahweh's Assembly in Messiah (YAIM). We attended with YAIM until 1986 when there was a split between YAIM and a new group that was formed called Yahweh's New Covenant Assembly (YNCA). My family and I went through a spiritual hard time because of the lack of fellowship. During this time we met with many different groups. In 1992 I attended the Feast of Tabernacles here in Missouri with Yahweh's New Covenant Assembly. I have lived in Missouri for almost a decade now doing what I can to help YNCA. I currently happily attend with brethren of like faith when the occasion presents itself. Since leaving YNCA in October, 1999 I have decided to do more for my brethren. Paleo Times is not meant to start a new organization. It is meant to edify my extended family in the Body of Messiah. In the past my mind was too closed to only one group. I would like to use the gifts that Yahweh has given me to teach the world the Eliyah message or at least aide others in doing this. As I stated before my brethren and sisters are my main concern with this ministry. It is too often forgotten that with out love we can never keep the commandments perfectly. I love my brethren and sisters and wish to do whatever Yahweh and Yahshua allow me to do to edify the assembly. The assembly is greater than any aspiring organization because it is the entire body of Yahshua. The goal of Paleo Times is to help the extended family of Yah to see the light through study and media. It is essential that we work together. Just imagine the possibilities that Yahweh has given the body of believers. When we all work together the entire body benefits.
