Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah
As disciples of Messiah Yahshua we are to teach through a life that emulates our Sovereign. Paleo Times intends to proclaim the straight and narrow path of moral living as demonstrated and proclaimed in torah which encompasses the whole Scripture. The intent of an obedient heart is repentance for our transgression of the torah. Repentance leads to a circumcised heart and a desire for immersion in Yahshua’s name. The love of Yahweh and Messiah Yahshua is fulfilled through a righteous life on the path to becoming the sons and daughters of Yahweh.
Body of Messiah
The body of Messiah, ekklesia, is to be edified with the loving works of virtue. Yahweh’s desire is that none are lost to perdition. Yahshua the Messiah laid down his life to give all that would call on him a corridor to Yahweh’s Kingdom. Caring for the poor, the widows, and the deliverance of the salvation message to those being called shares blessings and shows that we love and care for all of Yahweh’s children. Compassion for those in need is a sign of Yahshua’s love in healing those who are society’s undesirable. This compassion makes the weak strong and the handicap whole building a strong relationship with the Author of salvation.
Intent of Faith
The purpose of Paleo Times is to edify the Body of Messiah:
Romans 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Why is Paleo Times the name of this website and ministry? First and foremost we must serve Yahweh and to do this properly we must do what Yahweh asks of us throughout our life. His teachings have existed since the beginning of time. Yahshua followed Yahweh’s teachings as he walked this earth and as he lives today.
The foundation of all the scriptures is found in just two verses:
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Yahshua said to him, You shall love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40)
When we follow Matthew 22:36-40 we follow every scripture that Yahweh has given us. If we love Yahweh with all our heart we will keep every word that Yahweh has inspired. If we love our neighbor then we will be in total harmony with all the rules of conduct among the Body of Messiah.
For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of Yahweh. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your lives. But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: (James 1:20-23)
Everything that is presented on this website will be tested by the plumb line of Yahweh’s word. (Amos 7:7-8) If anything is found to be unscriptural it will be removed from this website. There is a section specifically for controversial topics. These topics will be available for comments and rebuttals. Most important we need your contributions to make this site beneficial to the entire Body of Messiah. If you have an article to submit please email or mail it to the contact info above. We also produce a monthly newsletter published online to keep the brethren in Messiah aware of what is concerning to the brethren and the implications to all believers.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1Thessalonians 5:21)
