Please take time Friday, August 9^th to look for the sixth new moon of the scriptural year. This new moon is going to be 35 hours and 47 minutes old at sunset which is estimated to be at 8:03PM in St. Louis, Missouri. This should be easy to see across most of the US. In Jerusalem, Israel the new moon will be 22 hours and 13 minutes old which may be hard to spot depending on the weather. According to Distant Suns, Kansas City, Missouri at 8:23PM CDT the new moon will be 10 degrees and 56 minutes above the horizon. Yahweh willing, we will see the new moon the night of August 9th.
