Monday, May 13, 2002 Shalom Brethren, Today at 8:30PM from Guthrie, Missouri a friend and I saw the new moon. This new moon was high in the sky and slightly to the left of where the sun set. The weather here was slightly hazy and cool but beautiful. Attached are a couple pictures, one at 8:40 PM and one around 9:05 PM. This new moon marks the beginning of the third month. We had many reports of this new moon being sighted. Thank you for the continued reports. Have a blessed Feast of First Fruits! Yahweh Bless, James A. Meyer Brother Augustus PaulGreetings Dear Friends in YAHSHUA! I am happy to report that I've just seen the third new moon this evening(Monday 13th May 2002) only a while ago at 6:43 PM ECT(Eastern Caribbean Time, -4 GMT). Tomorrow Tuesday 14th therefore being new moon (the first)day(of this third moon/month Sivan, Biblically), it is certain that the Sabbath Day Feast of Pentecost will this year be occurring on the 6th day of this moon Sivan. Shalom and YAHWEH bless!!! Bro. Augustus Paul Brother Jay TompkinsDear Mr. Meyer: I spotted the new moon at 8:31 pm this evening about half-way between Venus and the horizon and somewhat to the right. Venus was visible a few minutes before sundown, but the moon was not. It was lower and fainter than I expected, for the almanac showed that it set one hour after sundown. Thus I expected that it would be visible before sundown. Happy Rosh Chodesh Jay Tompkins Brother Nehemia GordonOn Monday May 13, 2002, observers across Israel looked for the moon but it was not sighted. There was a light haze on the horizon. Due to the borderline astronomical conditions of this moon, we will be looking again tomorrow night for the new moon. Psalms Chapter 981 Oh sing unto Yahweh a new song; For he hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him. 2 Yahweh hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the nations. 3 He hath remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim. 4 Make a joyful noise unto Yahweh, all the earth: Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises. 5 Sing praises unto Yahweh with the harp; With the harp and the voice of melody. 6 With trumpets and sound of cornet Make a joyful noise before the King, Yahweh. 7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein; 8 Let the floods clap their hands; Let the hills sing for joy together 9 Before Yahweh; for he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity. http://www.wordofyah.org/scriptures/ot/B19C098.htm |
