Greetings Brethren,

Blow the shofar to announce the beginning of Yahweh's sixth moon.  The sixth new moon was seen in many locations around the US.  In many places the new moon wasn't seen due to clouds and storms as here in central Missouri.  We pray that you are blessed throughout this month and that with the coming of the seventh month that Yahweh blesses you.  Thank you brethren for all your reports.

Roseau, Dominica

Dearly Beloved,

It is truly indeed a blessing from Yahweh whereby we can again be in communication with each other via the internet with regards to His appointed new moons having seen another new moon as He have commanded that we look for the new moon and having done which, I can report here this evening Thursday 28th August 2003 that I've just seen the sixth new moon Elul at 6:40p.m. ECT(-4 GMT) some fourteen(14) minutes after sunset here in Roseau, DOMINICA, West Indies (Eastern Caribbean) inspite of clouds and an overcast sky. I was able of sighting this evening's new moon just at the bottom edge of the wide spread of clouds. As a matter of fact, the two(2) horns of this evening's new moon was even covered with the thin edge of the clouds but was able of sighting a big enough portion of it that convinces me that it the new moon that I've seen.

All praise to Yahweh that He has enabled us of seeing yet another sixth(6th) moon (Elul) on His calendar as we near the seventh moon Ethanim come next new moon where His Fall/Autumn annual observances occur. Trusting we are all being in full preparation for Yahweh's upcoming Fall festivals, the grandest of which is the Feast of Tabernacles.

Wishing each and everyone the New Moon Spirit of Building and Rejoicing.

Shalom in Yahshua,

Bro. Augustus Paul

New Moon Sighted, Sidney, Maine: August 28, 7:50pm Eastern Time

We have had the pleasure to once again see the new moon just after sun set this evening. I have attached several other pictures this month as the new moon ones were not quite as impressive. The sunset shot was very pretty and a blessing from the Lord. I first saw the new moon at 7:50pm out the front door of our house. This was approximately 30 minutes after the beautiful sunset. Viewing the new moon this evening was quite a challenge. Because of all of the clouds I only had 7 minutes to look at the moon before it was gone behind the clouds for the rest of the evening. I enjoyed taking a few shot with the camera and a few through the telescope. None of these were very bright but I am enclosing them as well. Closing out the evening I took a shot of the planet Mars rising in the east. It was very bright compared to the light cast by the moon this evening. Shalom from Sidney, Maine and have a wonderful blessed new month!! John & Rhonda Perry

Shalom Everyone,

The small crescent new moon was definitely visible this evening (August 28th) in central Pennsylvania. Even though there were some high cirrus clouds in the western sky, they were thin enough to allow the new moon to be seen. Baruch HaShem Yahweh!!!

Here's another example of Yahweh SHOWING His Children that HE relies on EACH of us to SEE His Signs, not relying on MAN - ANY MAN- to determine His SEASONS!

We were able to easily SEE/SIGHT the New Moon last night here in NW Arkansas- August 28, 2003, at 8:10 pm CST- although those in Israel could not.

Shalom,

New Moon Report, August 2003, Sixth Month, Part 1

On Thursday August 28, 2003 observers across Israel looked for the new moon
but it was not sighted. We are still expecting reports from a few more
observers. The moon had borderline astronomical conditions which mean we
are not certain it would have been visible even under ideal weather
conditions. A final report will be sent tomorrow.

Hey Jim,

Hope you all are doing well! We thought we would be able to see the moon tonight due to our recent lack of rain, but the horizon here is always so hazy ... hopefully next month though!

Shalom,

We did not see the new crescent this evening. We had too many clouds. Hope others did see it, I know it is there. Bro Warren Smith in Crawfordsville, Indiana

New Moon Report, August 2003, Sixth Month, Part 2

With all observers reporting in, it is confirmed that no one saw the New Moon from Israel on Thursday August 28, 2003. The moon had borderline astronomical conditions which mean we are not certain it would have been visible even under ideal weather conditions. The moon has already been seen in the western hemisphere, confirming that it will be visible tonight (Friday August 29, 2003) in Israel.

Shabbat Shalom Brethren and Sisters,

The new moon was seen in all its' beauty at about 6;15, unusually high - usual awesome reminder that YAHWEH is in charge even if it does not appear that way.

Just wish I could spend the Feast with you - maybe next year. Agape Barbara
