Wednesday, January 2, 2003 Greetings Brethren, The eleventh new moon of this scriptural year will most likely be seen tomorrow evening. Please take time to look for the new moon and send a report of your sighting including any of the sighting information that you would like to share with the brethren. Time and location are helpful in determining visibility of future new moons. The specifics for this new moon relative to the central standard time zone, 26 hours and 27 minutes after the conjunction the sun will set at approximately 4:52 PM in St. Louis, Missouri. This new moon as can be seen through the graphical representation below from Distant Suns is not more than 7 degrees high but will have a great angular distance from sun; meaning that if the new moon stays above the horizon long enough to be seen it should be a decently visible crescent. Yahweh willing we will have a new moon report to send out later tomorrow night.
