Sunday, June 1, 2003 Greetings Brethren, The new moon was seen in many places starting with notification about 7 hours ago from Jerusalem, Israel. Here at around 9:07 PM I saw the new moon in Jefferson City, Missouri. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it but it was a beautiful sight. The Feast of Weeks will be here within a few days so I would like to pass on some information from Paleo Times and also brother Thomas Hobbs. I consider the wave sheaf as an offering made before Yahweh on the morrow after the Sabbath just as we all do. The Sabbath in context with the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the first holy day. The oldest know translation of the Torah called the Septuagint bares this fact out. June 6th will be Sivan 5 by the visible crescent and the Feast of Weeks. The Feast of Weeks starts at sunset on June 5th and ends at the beginning of the Sabbath, sunset June 6th. I pray that you have a blessed feast day rejoicing before Yahweh. The customary scriptures for the feast are the book of Ruth, Acts 2, Joshua 5 and perhaps the law pertaining to the feast found in Leviticus 23, Deuteronomy 16, and Numbers 28. Lessons for your children can be found in all these scriptures and others. I pray you have a blessed feast! Have a nice New Moon day. The Feast of First Fruits will be on the 7th day of the 3rd month. Hope you have a nice Feast. Take care, Everett Lee Larned Venus TexasShalom, Jim,
We, here in the Venus, Texas area, were unable to see the third Scriptural New Moon due to overcast skies this evening.
