Greetings Brethren,

The new moon was sighted earlier today in Jerusalem, Israel and in a few locations here in the US.  Here in Holts Summit, Missouri I sighted the new moon at around 5:35 and watched it set for almost thirty minutes.  Blow the shofar, it is the eighth new moon.  Psalms 81:3 Sound the ram's horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our Feast;  New moon reports will be added online as they are available.  What's New

Hi Jim,

I saw the new moon at about 5:35 this evening. It was almost vertical and seemed very large in diameter judging from the size of the crescent.

Reporting from Boone Terre, Missouri
Loretta Overman

Roseau, Dominica

I have sighted the eighth(8th) new moon too as well on Sunday 26th October 2003 at 6:21pm ECT from the capitol city of Roseau here on the island of Dominica in the Eastern Caribbean.

But one thing though. It is the first time that I'm seeing a star right next to the new moon if you did observe that. I've just heard one non-Bible activist making that same comment a few minutes ago just before sending you this report. The new moon was low and lingerred quite some time next to the star. As this individual said, he's accustom of seeing the new moon below the star and not next to the star. It's the first time for me seeing it that way, the new moon right next to the star and see how close they were next to each other.

Shalom and best wishes,
Augustus Paul

Hollister

James;

The new moon was clear at bright from Hollister tonight. Venus was a perfect pointer. The moon was visible at 5:27 (only 12 min after sunset) PM at 7+ degrees altitude.
I use Starry Night Astronomy software. It makes it easy to predict the local visibility, and right where to look.

Blessings,
-Robert
