Shalom brethren,

Many brethren looked this evening for the new moon but were unable to sight the second new moon.  Tomorrow evening, April 20th at sunset, the second new moon of the scriptural year is expected to be visible.  The new moon will probably be seen in southeast Asia first as it makes its way around the earth.  Please send your report to New Moon.  This new moon should be highly visible with clear skies.

Vis.Curve

This is a screenshot from MoonCalc 6.0 of expected visibility.  As the grid becomes more solid the visibility of the new moon is more likely.

This is a screenshot from Distant Suns of the expected new moon height above the horizon in Kansas City, Missouri.  This new moon will be approximately 14 degrees above the horizon.

Once new moon reports are received they can be viewed on Paleo Times under the What's New section.  Thank you for your reports and I pray that you have a blessed time looking for the new moon tomorrow evening.

Yahweh bless,

James A. Meyer
