Tuesday, April 20, 2004 Shalom brethren, The second new moon was seen in Richmond, Indiana and probably many other places at the time of this mailing. The report from Scott Sweet follows. Other reports will be added as they are available. Here in central Missouri the skies were just too cloudy. The rain is a blessing for the crops and a nice change from the early spring heat. Thank you brethren for your reports and have a blessed new moon. There have been a few requests for information on the Zikarown Say'fer so I would like to make the link available through this mailing. http://www.lulu.com/paleotimes I would like to thank each of you for sending corrections and other advice concerning the Scriptures. Many brethren have requested prayer this month. Please remember these beloved brethren as you go before Father Yahweh through Messiah Yahshua. Prayer Requests Lucille Cornwell; Jermaine Cromwell - sickness possibly related to liver problems.; The Fegans Family; Genaro Spencer; Braden Clines - born in the 28th week of pregnancy.; Karen Allford - Karen's husband is looking for employment.; Dutch A. Bulseco; Catalin Rosu Yahweh bless, James A. Meyer Richmond, IndianaGreetings,
The new moon is shinning brightly tonight under partly cloudy skies in Richmond, IN. Welcome brethren to the second month of our scriptural year.
Scott Sweet Roseau, DominicaGreetings Dearly Beloved Friends in Yahshua!
I did keep my promise in looking out for the new moon last night Monday 19th April 2004 but it was cloudy and so I could not tell whether or not that the new moon did make its appearing and so I again made a search this evening to see what it looked like and if it had appeared last night but from the size and height that I've seen it tonight at 7:00 p.m. in 39 minutes after sunset, I could discern that its first appearing is tonight. It was cloudy tonight as well and so, it took me up until 39 minutes after sunset before I could have seen it this evening.
Thanks be to Yah that He has enabled us of sighting the beginning of the second month Zif on His holy Bible calendar.
I am here reporting over 2 hours after sighting the new moon as I had to go to the hospital where my mother is a patient for a month now having been admitted there on Wednesday 24th March 2004 because that her sugar as a Diabetic was high at 365. What she actually went to the private Doctor for was for her heels on which blisters showed up filled with liquid matter. After testing, the Doctor found that her sugar was high and so she admitted her to the hospital. What is having her still in the hospital, according to what I've been informed, is that she will have to remain a patient there until that her heels shows sign of healing and therefore request that you make mention of her name, Bernadine Andrew, in your prayers and most of all that she sees the need to abdicate Babylon and its system of worship in which there's no salvation and seek the salvation which is of the Jews (Worshipers of Yahweh) only. For those of you who do not already know, she is blind and both Diabetic and High Pertensive. Her sugar level, from when I last enquired, has abated although now again it hikes up again and sometimes even drops too low.
May the truth of Yahweh continue in those of us to whom He have imparted it and may we ever have that continual burning zeal to share it with others that Yahshua is the only saving name given that we might be saved in obeying His commandments including to worship Him on His new moons too as well.
A Happy New Moon Day To Everyone from Your Brother:
Augustus Paul (Bro.) Hollister, CaliforniaThe New Moon was sighted at 8:30 pm last night from Hollister, CA. It was bright, clear, and easy to see.
Shalom, Robert Las Vegas, NevadaThe new moon of the second month was spotted at 8:25 PM in Las Vegas, NV. I was not sure I would be able to see it because of the cloud cover, but the LORD removed them and made the sliver visible to both my son and myself. Enjoy the next month of the King of the Universe, from Billy Ewing and family in Las Vegas, NV. Chewelah, WashingtonFirst sliver of Second Moon sighted Tuesday evening from Chewelah, Washington by Ernie, Evan & Erin Hoch at 8:31pm. What a georgeous site. This was, I think, the first, first sliver, we've been able to sight from this property since we moved here 2 1/2 years ago. :-) What a blessing. Danville, VirginiaBrother Jim,
We have experienced a couple of summer like days. All have been looking forward to viewing the new moon crescent. Alas! About two hours before time, heavy clouds and though it was a 30 percent chance of rain guess what? Yep, it has been and still is raining. Hopefully, next month we will be honored to make a sighting.
Shalom,
Berry & Donna Rose Sarasota, FloridaSarasota Fl was overcast this night.
Denis Florio Castries, St. LuciaDear Brethren of like precious faith:
I looked in the sky for the sighting of the moon, but unfortunately due to the weather condition I was not able to see it. However based upon the date of the last moon (new year) this new moon should be visible other parts of the world. Please keep us informed here in Castries St. Lucia regarding its sighting. Shalom!
Yours brother in Messiah Yahshua
Felix Wells Francois Jerusalem, IsraelOn Tuesday April 20, 2004, Observers across Israel looked for the New Moon but did not sight it. The moon had borderline astronomical conditions from Israel which means it was not certain that it would have been visible even under ideal weather conditions. Barring further observation reports, New Moon Day will be observed tomorrow night, Wednesday April 21, 2004.
Nehemia Gordon Fulton, MissouriHi Jim & Laura, We could not see the new moon due to the heavy cloud cover. However, Kay Perry called from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and said that even with the bright lights of the city she was able to easily see the new moon.
Shalom, Denny & Donna Bitterman No Location DataShalom, Thanks for the timely reminders of the moon watch and sightings. Here it has been cloudy and rainy in the evening and at night so I have been unable to see even the stars either night even though I did watch in hopes of seeing a first night new moon. Maybe next month I will be among the ones to see ,and welcome in at first sighting, the new moonth. (Who says it has to be spelled month?) Ellen Clarksville, ArkansasJim, no new moon here because of clouds. Frank Brown, Clarksville, AR |
