Thursday, January 22, 2004 Greetings brethren, The new moon that marks the beginning of the eleventh month was seen in many locations. Tonight soon after sunset many brethren of Yahweh's Assembly in Messiah, my family in Rocheport, Missouri, saw the new moon soon after sunset. The new moon was fairly thin but decently high above the horizon. Have a blessed new moon! Thank you brethren for sharing your sightings. Brother Warren Smith wrote that Yahweh's calendar remains perfect no matter how much man attempts to change it. A Scripture came to mind as I was reading these reports and brother Smith's words. Yahweh has sent his messengers many times and many were killed even ha Mashiyach Yahshua gave his life to redeem Israel so that once more the offerings of Israel might be perfect and acceptable to Almighty Yahweh. Who are the Yahudim (Jews) Paul asked, they are the followers of Yahweh. We look forward to a kingdom only known through the remembrance of ancient times or "ancient years" when Yahweh's word was delivered at every gate and every door. We look forward to that the perfect justice only Yahweh can deliver. The judge of Israel is truly a blessing to all that repent by accepting Yahweh's instruction and Yahshua's testimony. May we be humbled towards the offerings of righteousness. Malachi 3:1 Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Adonay, that you seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, that you desire, behold, he comes, says Yahweh of hosts. 2 But who can abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap: 3 and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer to Yahweh offerings in righteousness. 4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant to Yahweh, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.

In YAHshua, Arkie Millersburg, MissouriDear Mr. Meyer:
The new moon was observed just above the tree tops at about 5:47 pm CST. I almost missed it before realizing that it was 30 minutes past sunset and that the moon would be much lower.

Warren Smith, Yahweh's Refuge Assembly Roseau, Commonwealth of DominicaGreetings Dear Friends in Messiah.
I praise Yahweh where He has enabled me of seeing yet another new moon of the 11th month Sebat which I've just seen this evening(Thursday 22nd January 2004) at 6:20pm ECT(-4 GMT) from the capitol city of Roseau here in the Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies. Just only one more new moon to come and go which is Adar and after which we'll be entering into the Bible new year with the March 2004 new moon of ABIB(AVIV) and to observe the Spring festivals in that moon.
Shalom and may the newness of Life be ALWAYS Yours,
Augustus Paul Jerusalem, IsraelOn Thursday January 22, 2004, Observers across Israel looked for the New Moon but did not sight it. The moon had borderline astronomical conditions from Israel which means we are not certain it would have been visible even under ideal weather conditions. A final report will be sent tomorrow.
Nehemia Gordon Texas Hill CountryShalom in Yahshua! Overcast skies and drizzle prevent seeing the 'Sebat' new moon in The Texas Hill Country near the LBJ Ranch. Yahweh bless and keep you all. Daniel at The Eliyah Message Danville, VirginiaNo sighting in DANVILLE, VIRGINIA ON JANUARY 22, 2004.
Was very disappointed as we were expecting to sight the new moon but had partially cloudy skies. We thought even so but alas, maybe next month.
