| Sunday, July 18, 2004 Greetings Brethren, The fifth new moon was seen in Jerusalem, Israel. Nehemia Gordon wrote, "On Sunday July 18, 2004 the New Moon was sighted from Jerusalem by Melekh ben-Ya'aqov, Rivka Michaeli, Nehemia Gordon, and Devorah Gordon all at 20:12." Later reports will be appended to this page found under the What's New section on the Paleo Times. I look forward to your reports; have a blessed fifth month. Please send your new moon reports to New Moon. Psalms 81For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of Asaph. 1 Sing aloud to Elohim our strength: Make a joyful noise to the Elohim of Jacob. 2 Raise a song, and bring close the timbrel, The pleasant harp with the psaltery. 3 Blow the shofar at the new moon, At the full moon, on our feast-day. 4 For it is a statute for Israel, An ordinance of the Elohim of Jacob. 5 He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony, When he went out over the land of Egypt, Where I heard a language that I knew not. 6 I removed his shoulder from the burden: His hands were freed from the basket. 7 You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I proved you at the waters of Meribah. Selah 8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify to you: O Israel, if you would listen to me! 9 There will be no strange el in you; Neither will you worship any foreign el. 10 I am Yahweh your Elohim, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt: Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. 11 But my people didn't listen to my voice; And Israel had no mind for me. 12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels. 13 Oh that my people would listen to me, That Israel would walk in my ways! 14 I would quickly subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries. 15 The haters of Yahweh should submit themselves to him: that their time should endure for ever. 16 He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat; And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy you. I had last evening Saturday 17th July 2004, being the sunset-end of the 29th day of the fourth moon, made a search for this fifth new moon when Aaron the brother of Moses died. The sky was extremely clear last evening but the new moon was not seen.
I again did a search for it this evening Sunday 18th July 2004 and there it was. I saw it this evening at about 7:18 p.m. ECT(-4 GMT).
Happy new moon day and Yahweh's grace to everyone throughout this Sunday evening 18th July 2004 until Monday sunset 19th July 2004 in the grace of Almighty Yahweh.
