Wednesday, October 13, 2004 Greetings brethren, Please look for the new moon tomorrow night, October 14th at sunset. This new moon will mark the beginning of the eighth month. Although it is unlikely that there will be a sighting of the new moon tomorrow it will be good practice and verification of estimations. The moon from the time of the conjunction to sunset will only be about 21 hours old in the central time zone. Although a new moon was seen at this age in the fall of 2003 it is doubtful without magnification that it will be seen this late in the year because of the position of the moon in the sky. The locations for possible sighting will be in South America.

Feast of TabernaclesWe had an excellent Feast of Tabernacles with brethren in Rocheport, Missouri. We missed many brethren who traveled overseas and some who were unable to make it but there was an excellent turn out. Many sermons were given from Yahweh's word on topics relating to the theme of the feast which was "They shall know we are brethren by our love". It was a great time of fellowship and learning. And I can even imagine what might be going through his mind. He and his family needs all the prayers they can get. They were told his cancer is of the fast acting kind and his time here will be short. He goes to the doctor today to see if it has spread and if so where.
