Greetings brethren,

The sixth new moon of the Scriptural calendar is expected to be visible Saturday at sunset (Aug. 6th).  There is a possibility that it might be visible in the US tomorrow (Aug. 5th) with the help of Yahweh but will be an extremely thin crescent.  The best location to see the new moon tomorrow would be the distant southwestern areas of the United States.  Please send your new moon reports to New Moon including the number of brethren who see the new moon without magnification.  Your reports will be added to Paleo Times as they become available.

Feast Preparation

With only a little more than a month left before the Feast of Tabernacles there isn't much time left to set new plans.  There are two different dates this year that brethren will be keeping depending on whether their calculations utilize Abib or the equinox for determining the first new moon of the Scriptural year.  The Feast of Tabernacles guide makes available the listing of feast sites for both dates.  We are to come before Yahweh with joy during the feasts.

Laura and I would love to meet you at the Feast of Tabernacles.  Consider attending the feast at Rocheport, Missouri, Sept. 19-26.  For more information please feel free to contact Elder Garner at 573-698-4335.  You can also read more information and register online.

Yahweh bless,

James A. Meyer
