Friday December 30, 2005 Greetings brethren, Except in the South America, the eleventh new moon will probably be difficult to see on December 31 at sunset . The best location within the continental United States will be the southwest. Here in central US it will take at least an optical aid to locate the new moon. The most likely date for the eleventh new moon will be January 1st at sunset. Please send your reports to Paleo Times using the online form. I will be unavailable for the next few days but will attempt to publish your reports as soon as possible. http://www.paleotimes.org/nmreport/nmreport.asp MoonCalc 6.0 - December 31st visibility estimation.
