I pray that this email finds you and your family blessed.  Thursday night at sunset the fifth new moon of the Scriptural year is expected to be visible.  Please send your reports to New Moon including information about when, where and how many brethren observed the new moon.  This new moon is expected to be highly visible as long as the skies are clear in your area.


Distant Suns - the new moon is estimated to be 13 degrees and 8 minutes above the horizon.  The new moon should be 290 degrees from north.
