Tuesday, June 7, 2005 Greetings brethren, The fourth new moon of the Scriptural year was seen tonight in the United States. Here in Blue Springs, Missouri my camera was not on par with my eyes so the following pictures although they show the new moon they do not clearly represent the ease of this sighting. The new moon was about 8 degrees above the horizon when it was first sighted around 9:10PM. Thank you brethren for your reports and if you have not yet sent a report please take time to send your report to New Moon.

Yahweh bless, James A. Meyer Boone, IowaGreetings everyone, The new moon was spotted west of Boone tonight. My husband, myself & our daughter spotted it at 9:18 pm. It was neat how there was nothing then a few seconds later there it was. It was a beautiful sunset. Happy Chodesh! Lori Harvey Silver Run, MarylandI sighted the new moon tonight at about 8:50 EDT at Silver Run, MD. The sky was very hazy and I used binoculars to find the moon but, when I knew where to look, it could just be seen with the naked eye. James M. Graham III Fulton, MissouriGreetings, James We didn't get your reminder this month, but I'm replying anyway. Liz & I drove to the highest hill in Fulton, MO, and observed the 4th new moon of Yahweh's calendar with our naked eyes. We spotted it at about 9:15 CST, in a sliver of horizontal space between two clouds. It disappeared, then about 10 minutes later it re-appeared, and we watched it sink all the way to the horizon at about 9:32pm. John & Liz Fisher Note from Jim: many didn't receive the request for new moon watch because of email problems. Yah willing this issue will clear up with tonight's email.
Cisco, TexasDear Jim, Sunset was at 8:41. We could just see the new moon at 9:00 p.m. with the naked eye. We confirmed it with binoculars. Six of us at Cisco, Texas, saw it unaided. Fulton, MissouriHi Jim & Laura, 4 of us saw the New Moon tonight, June 7 at 9:15 p.m. Shalom, Denny & Donna Bitterman Hollister, CaliforniaJim; Shalom! The new moon was sighted tonight from Hollister, CA by Robert & Lou Ann Sackett, at 8:41 PM. Naked eyes. Beautiful skies. Perfect conditions. Very thin (but clear) crescent. Blessings, -Robert Roseau, Dominica, West IndiesShalom and congratulations to all who will have been successful in sighting the new moon this evening Tuesday 7th June 2005. I'd reported to you earlier on this afternoon during my lunch time from work that the sky has been fully cloudy from morning and therefore was not certain of a clear sky by this evening for the sighting of the new moon. This is just exactly what has happened that the sky has not been cleared up for the entire day and is still extremely cloudy even as I write. I began my search from about (6:47pm) 12 minutes after sunset and eventually had to end the search at about 7:38pm as it was only clouds that I was seeing from East to West and from North to South. So thick the clouds that some stars to the South could barely be seen. A Joyous New Moon Day to ALL in Yahshua, Augustus Paul Jerusalem, IsraelOn Tuesday June 7, 2005 observers across Israel looked for the new moon. All the reports received so far were that the moon was not sighted. This was an extreme moon, meaning that even under ideal viewing conditions visibility was unlikely from Israel. In light of this we will be celebrating New Moon day beginning tomorrow night (June 8). Nehemia Gordon Crawfordsville, IndianaShalom Bro. James, We went out to look for the new moon and there were low clouds, so we did not get to see the new moon here in Crawfordsville, In. Shalom to all. Warren Smith Yahweh's Refuge Assembly Sand Springs, OklahomaShalom! No new moon visible here in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
