Thursday November 3, 2005 Greetings brethren, The ninth new moon was visible in many locations including Jerusalem, Israel. Here in Blue Springs, Missouri even with cloud cover the moon was visible through the haze with the naked eye. The new moon was first seen here at 5:31PM and was visible for about 5 minutes before it set below the clouds. Thank you for your reports and I will continue to add them online for all the brethren to share.  This is a highly magnified picture of the new moon.

 The new moon is in almost the same place as the above picture but is faint.

The moon was first sighted by Pam Dow at 17:06, by Nehemia Gordon at 17:07, by Ray Dow and Eva Reeves at 17:10 and shortly afterwards by Miri Burgin, Bershet Rifkin, and Charlie Gua.
