Tuesday October 4, 2005 Greetings brethren, Eighth new moon sighted in Socoro, New Mexico; Scottsdale, Arizona and Cisco, Texas. Have a blessed new moon! Reports will continue to be added as they are available. Emergency Prayer RequestDear Brother James, Grant ask for your prayers, as does Jack and I. Grant got bit in bed yesterday morning 10/3/05. He said it hurt, and he looked but couldn't find anything in the bed. It made a red whelp and we couldn't see a bite location. Tonight when he showed it to us we could see where it had been bitten and the red was spread out more. I pulled up his pants leg a bit more and there is red streak about an inch wide up to just below the bend of his leg behind the knee cap. This is blood poison. The bite is just where the calf starts on the back of the leg. I notice his neck red earlier today, and red tonight. He said it was itching when he woke up today. He took some Liquid children's Benadryl adult dose that the gelatin isn't pork. He has had problems in the past with bites and swelling bad, but this is the first time he has turned red like this. So he may have had an allergic reaction to the bite. I soaked cloth a with saturated epson salts on it and soaked it like we had to do before when he got blood poison when he was a child when a yellow jacket stung him. Now betadine on it. I really has me concerned. I called my nephew that is Elder in TX for prayer, Jack anointed Grant. Would you send up prayers for him please? We all thank you very much.

York) Jerusalem, IsraelSo far no one who has reported in has seen the moon from Israel with the naked eye on Tuesday October 4, 2005. The moon was sighted from Eilat (Mt. Hizkiyahu) through binoculars by Magdi Shamuel and two others; the moon was first sighted by Magdi at 18:46 and remained visible through binoculars for 5 minutes. The moon was NOT sighted with the naked eye. We are still awaiting further reports from Israel. More information will be sent as it becomes available. Roseau, DominicaThere was a soft showering of rain and some peels of thunder here in Roseau, Dominica this afternoon, leaving the sky over the western horizon extremely overcast and it is still that way up to time of writing. I just could NOT have seen whether or not that the new moon was out this evening. Imagine, NOT even the sun could have been seen as it was setting. The sun itself was hidden from our eyes for the rest of this afternoon. |
