Sabbath September 3, 2005 Greetings brethren, Sunday evening (September 4) at sunset, please take some time to look for the seventh new moon. Right before sunset, begin by observing the setting of the sun to help locate the position of the new moon. The sun sets to the right of where the new moon will be visible. It is important to remember where the sun sets on the horizon and where you where standing when you saw the sun set. The new moon will be close in proximity to where the sun set relative to left and right along the horizon but will be higher in the sky as Distant Suns depicts in the picture below. The Distant Suns representation is from Kansas City, Missouri. Your visible sky may vary slightly; including the elevation of the new moon from the horizon that will probably be higher in the southwest. We do not expect this new moon to be especially high but it should be bright. The depiction below is at a zoom, so the distance from the sunset to the new moon will probably be much less on your local horizon. Please report your new moon sighting through the online New Moon Report Form. You can also email pictures and call. The number here is (816) 463-4183. Distant Suns - using a compass the new moon should be 267 degrees and 25 minutes (SW) from north and 6 degrees and 52 minutes above the horizon.

More links concerning the Feast of Tabernacles 2005: Prayer RequestsMany brethren are in need of Yahweh's help through Messiah Yahshua. The hurricane Katrina and the continuing aftermath have devastated the lives of many brethren. It has been five days since the hurricane struck Louisiana and Mississippi and the environment is not yet secure. There are different interpretations of such a storm. Some see it as a punishment for our wickedness as a people. I do not claim to understand the lesson that Yahweh has delivered through Katrina nor if it is His will for so many to perish. The outcome though is an awakening throughout the land that we hope and pray will help an Elohim-less people recognize that punishment is coming for wickedness. Return to Yah! In the mean time, we need to gather our brethren together to worship the Almighty. The seventh month is almost upon us and Yom Teruah (Memorial of Trumpets) will be here within a few days. Yom Teruah is special as it points to the awaking of Israel. The Teruah announces the coming of Yahshua and the restoration of a perfect kingdom. The prospect according to Yahshua’s word is that we pray our flight is not on a Sabbath or in the winter. Those times would add to the suffering of Yahweh’s remnant. There are many in a situation similar to what we may endure one day. We need to demonstrate the love of Messiah to those who are suffering. Those we consider strangers can see the love of Messiah through a tithe to feed and clothe. Others we can make room for in our home. Many brethren are willing to take you in and help you get on your feet. Please let us know who you are and what you need so that we can help. Keep the following brethren in your prayers: David W. Scott; Vickie Demler - six children to find path to salvation.; Isabel Casillas - son needs healing.; Sister Tamra - marital issues.; Maxwell Family - health and employment issues.; Brother Benyamin Cogdill - severe allergies.; Sandra Morris - colon and other organ issues.; Gerald Dunlap- healing from cancer.; LaToya, Trez, Janice, Monique, and Tiffany - employment needs.; Terry, Cheryl, George and Michele - closer walk with Yahweh.; Brother Joe - falsely accused.; Mrs. Brian Wilson - suffering post partum depression.; Brother Daniel; Bierman Family; Pearson Family - lost their daughter Emily in a car accident.; Beth Cox Family - marriage reconciliation to keep the family together.; John Allen Wise - blessings of knowledge, wisdom and understanding.; Brother Stephen; Hall Family; Genaro Spencer; Marilyn Rizzo - overcoming brain cancer.; Mogusu Motanya; Sandra Morris - health problems.; Sister Nichole - help overcoming tumors.; Ryan Yost - mother has health issues.; Sister Peggy - may have breast cancer; Ira Bin Zarnoff; Yvonne Moore Fant; Julia Gamper - healing from diabetes.; Michael, Debra, and Gloria Vosselmann; Mike Dixon; Mikey Haynes; Tammy Foy - sick for seven months and seeking help finding problem.; William G.
