Friday August 25, 2006 Greetings brethren, Blow the Shofar! The new moon was seen in Jerusalem, Israel marking the beginning of the sixth month. Additional reports will be added as they are submitted. Here in Fredericksburg, Virginia the sky was slightly covered with haze and clouds. The first visible star did not appear until an hour after sunset. There is only one more month until Yom Teruah and the feasts of the seventh new moon.
