Tuesday July 25, 2006 Greetings brethren, Last month Ben Burgett was on the emergency prayer alert. Brother Ben is doing well. Praise Yahweh for his healing. With each new moon, we are closing in on the Feast of Tabernacles. There are only two more new moons and fifteen days left until the Feast of Tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacles is an important time, one of the three appointed times when all brethren are to come before Yahweh. In the spirit of Messiah Yahshua, we come together in unity. We see a time approaching when tribulation will be more prevalent; therefore, we need brotherly love to overcome the obstacles of this world. Yahweh's feasts build that love. We also need a sound foundation of faith so that when the adversary corners us we rely on Yahweh's word to protect our entire family. We find in the Scripture that Yahshua responded to questions with answers. Some of the answers may have been in parables to confound the self-wisdom but they were answers clear to those in need of them. An answer for a question may be shocking considering how routine double speak is today from the pulpit of professional speakers. A correct answer is the one that you would give to Almighty Yahweh. The feasts of Yahweh build this knowledge too. So what are we to do? Observe Yahweh’s feasts! I have had many complain that gas prices are too high to observe the feast this year. I can sympathize but observance and communing with brethren in the presence of Yahweh does not have to be expensive. Many brethren throw up a tent in their backyard and invite brethren to their homes. I believe Yahweh will accept that observance because the heart and devotion of the believer is to obey. I would not recommend for anyone to use credit to attend a feast, which is not Scriptural acceptable at all. For perspective, I cannot help but to think of Yahshua’s family walking to the feasts. No SUV, no luggage rack, just sandals to the dirt. As a country, we have no concept of tribulation unless you go back a few generations. My grandpa lived through the depression; he had perspective on tribulation. Praise Yahweh for the blessing of not having to endure a depression in almost 80 years in this country. It is a blessing to give to those in need. If you need help reaching the feast or if you would help brethren in need, reach out through an email. The blessing is profound especially for those whom have never had the opportunity to observe Yahweh’s feasts. Additionally, please utilize the Feast of Tabernacle feast site guide if you are concerned about traveling a great distance. A word of warning, the list includes many sites that you will want to contact before attending. The actual feast site may be in a different location than the listed assembly. If you know of other feast sites, please consider listing them to assist brethren who are searching. Feast of Tabernacles Guide New Moon Watch It is time again to observe for the new moon marking the beginning of another month. This is the fifth new moon of the Scriptural year. The visibility of the new moon tonight, July 25, is questionable for the United States. Mexico and central America have the best chance of seeing this new moon. If you do not see the new moon this evening, tomorrow evening will be the start of the Scripture month. We will post the results as they become available. Please submit your reports online through http://www.paleotimes.org/nmreport/nmreport.asp. Updates are available online at http://www.paleotimes.org under "What's New". MoonCalc 6.0 - July 25, 2006
