Tuesday December 11, 2007 Shalom Brethren,
Blow the shofar! The tenth new moon was
visible starting with the first reported sighting in Australia. This means
that we are now in the first day of the tenth month and that the 30th day of the
ninth month closed at sunset. Cloud cover and fog didn't permit a sighting
here in northern-eastern Virginia but it is exciting to see brethren seeking
diligently for Yahweh's sign of the new month.
I pray that you have a blessed month and thank
you for all your reports!
Note: December 10th did not reveal any
positive reports so they will not be added to this report.
Yahweh bless, James A. Meyer

The crescent moon was seen clearly with the naked
eye, about 9pm, quite high in the sky, on this Tuesday night 11th Dec 2007, from
Boronia in Melbourne, Australia. Though I do not wait to see the new moon,
before declaring it, I did see it tonight, looking quite mature and obvious, and
wondered if it had been seen by anyone last night. As I found on the site that
no one here had reported it on Monday, I was delighted to report it.
Jerusalem, Israel
On Tuesday December 11, 2007 the New Moon was
sighted from Jerusalem at 16:50 by Nehemia Gordon, Devorah Gordon, and Johann
Schutte. The moon was also sighted from Herodion at 17:15 by Bruce Brill.
Rosh Hodesh Sameach!
Happy New Moon!

Hi Jim,
We are enjoying unseasonable weather down here in
Danville, Virginia...seems like May...
This evening around 5:27 PM ESTwe spotted the
beautiful new moon......of course today is December 11, 2007. It was so
illuminating in a clear sky......seems almost reverent.

The new moon of Tevet came in today around 5:19
at sunset in the west hemisphere in Monroe, Louisiana Blow the shofar my friends
we have a new month on hand shalom and peace.
Clarksville, Arkansas
We are socked in with fog and clouds. No sun OR
moon seen here.

The new moon would have surely been easy to see
this evening (that is, if it did not become visible at all last evening after
the sunset-end of the lunar 29th day) had it not been for the rainy/cloudy
weather overcast sky, as, having been seen in Israel today as per the
forwarded/accompanying reporting from Israel, it is certainly a bit high here
this evening which does usually be the case on the same evening it is being seen
in Israel 6 hours (-4 GMT + 2) before us that we would end up seeing it here
too.
I tender this my (new moon?) reporting
peradventure the new moon did not become visible anywhere at all last evening of
Monday 10th December 2007 after the sunset-end of the lunar 29th day of the
Bible 9th month Chisleu.
Happy new moon day to all in any case, if not
belated, as the case may be, and may Yahweh's grace continue to abound in us all
even as this Bible 10th month Tebeth continues to progress.
Shalom in Yahshua,
