Saturday November 10, 2007 Shalom Brethren,
I pray that you had a
blessed Shabbat and eighth month. The ninth month is about to start with the
next new moon sighting. Tomorrow at sunset, November 11th, the new moon is
likely to be visible throughout much of the globe. As the MoonCalc graphic below demonstrates, the new
moon was only possibly visible on November 10th in parts of South America. MoonCalc does not generate a graphic for the third day after the conjunction
but one could project the visibility curve around the globe.
Distant Suns shows that the
new moon will be bright but low on the horizon at sunset. The moon's path still
is in the southern hemisphere at this time of the year but usually the cool air
means clear skies where there is no precipitation. Consider sharing your
pictures of this new moon by attaching them in response to this email. Please
submit your reports online at New
Moon Report.
