Saturday April 5, 2008 Shabbat Shalom Brethren,
May Yahweh and Messiah Yahshua bless you
throughout this Shabbat. The 13-month of the Scriptural year is about to
close and according to a report from Nehemia Gordon the barley has now reached
Abib in Jerusalem, Israel. This means that the next new moon will be the
first of the Scriptural year and it marks the beginning of the count to Pesach
and Shavuot. April 6th at sunset the new moon should be easily visible if
conditions permit from upper South America to parts of Canada. This new
moon actually is the first that I have seen depicted in Distant Suns as being to
the right of the sunset. Therefore, in this case the new moon should
appear to set in the same location as the sun. Please consider taking a
picture of this new moon and sharing it with the brethren. Jerusalem,
Israel will not be able to visibly see the new moon until April 7th. Submit your new moon reports online at New
Moon Report.
