Based on a preliminary report from Nehemia Gordon
in Jerusalem, Israel the barley is not yet mature enough to classify as Abib.
As more information is reported I will follow up with a more official report.
There are many brethren looking for Abib and once those reports come in we will
have a more complete picture.
For a new moon that is likely to be the
thirteenth new moon of this year, it should be visible March 8. This up
coming new moon should be easily visible if weather permits. The new moon
is expected to be very high at 15deg 18min above the horizon. Please
