April 25, 2009 Shalom Aleichem, Blow the shofar. The second new moon was seen in New Mexico, Arizona, and Missouri by 23 brethren in all. (report) The new moon was not seen here or in many other locations due to weather. The new moon is expected to be easily visible tomorrow in most parts of the globe. Have a blessed month. If you are observing the second Passover, it will start on May 9th at sunset which is the beginning of 15th day of the second month.

By the time it was 5:47pm this afternoon, l was already on the grounds of The New Roseau Market facing the western waiting for the sun to had set at 6:22pm from when my search for the new moon began and lasted for an hour until 7:22pm but still can't tell if the new moon became visible this evening as the sky was partially overcast and there was no showing of it in the area of sky that was not overcast.
