February 25, 2009 Shalom Aleichem, One family reported seeing the twelfth new moon from New Mexico. Brother Rich reports that one person in Abilene, Texas also saw the new moon. Here locally it was only minimally hazy but there wasn't any sighting here. I expect it will be easily seen around the globe tomorrow at sunset. Blow the Shofar and have a good new moon. Please continue to submit new reports as other parts of the globe will also be added as time progresses. Yahweh bless, James A. Meyer Central New MexicoMy wife and I saw a very thin, dim new moon tonight about 30 minutes after local sunset, both with our naked eyes. DJM Adelaide, AustraliaShalom No new moon was observed here in Adelaide Australia today (25th). If there are no moon reports anywhere in the world until evening tomorrow, the I will try again to see if I can spot it tomorrow. Shalom. Mosheh Sand Springs, OklahomaShalom, about 5-10 minutes before sunset a cloud bank moved in from the South. Unable to spot anything, may YHWH bless, John and family. Gulfport, MississippiWe went to the beach (Gulf of Mexico) cloudy, hazy, no moon. Servants of Yah Roseau, DominicaThis evening Wednesday 25th February 2009 were one of those evenings to have seen one of the most tolerable sky conditions for a new moon search only to see that there was no sign or appearing of the new moon during my search for it which lasted from 6:12 (sunset) to 6:55pm. All that was before my eyes during my search was beautiful clear blue sky and a big bright shining star high above the western horizon. Has anyone as yet seen it with the naked eye in the North American region of which here in the Caribbean is a part? -Augustus Paul |
