May 25, 2009 Shalom Aleichem, I pray that all is well with you and your family on this 30th day of the second month. The third new moon is likely to be seen if weather permits around the globe today. As the thirtieth day of the second month closes, the first day of the third month will begin with sunset. It is important to note that the third month was when the Torah of Yahweh was first declared to Moses. (Ex 19:1) Around this time, Yahshua ascended to heaven to be with Almighty Yahweh. In Acts 1:2, it is written that until the day Yahshua was taken up he gave the disciples instructions through the Ruach ha Qodesh. Acts 1:3 states that Yahshua spoke to the disciples about the Kingdom of Yahweh for 40 days after he suffered. Approximately, seven days later the Ruach ha Qodesh filled the disciples on the Feast of Weeks. (Acts 2) From the start of the count of the omer to today, the 44th day of the count, Yahshua rose from the grave, continued to teach the disciples, and ascended to be with Almighty Yahweh. Moses in parallel many years before had asked Israel to cleanse themselves in preparation for Yahweh's Torah. (Ex 19:10-15) Yahshua like Moses is working to prepare a people to receive the Kingdom of Yahweh. As we prepare for the Feast of Weeks, lets remember all that has been given to bring us to the knowledge of the Kingdom of Yahweh.
