Shalom Aleichem,

Blow the Shofar!  The new moon that marks the beginning of the third month was seen in Jerusalem and is expected to be seen in other locations if the weather permits.  Here in Virginia the new moon was not seen due to cloud cover and rain.  Your reports can be submitted online through the following form, New Moon Report.  Reports will be added as they arrive.

The Feast of Weeks this year is one of three over the last decade which ended up on the same day whether one counts after the first Qodesh day or the Sabbath during the feast of Unleavened Bread.  It is a blessing to have unity.  The Feast of Weeks falls on Sivan 6 this year, May 31.  Have a blessed Feast of Weeks!

Yahweh bless,
J. Meyer

A beautiful moment spent with my daughter Zoe. Today she learned how to look for the new moon based upon estimated positions. We saw it and enjoyed the evidence of The Divine Creator. May all of Yahweh's people be blessed. Shields Family (2 observers)

Hi Jim, I walked out my front door and to the northwest the new moon was up pretty high and easily visible. This is the first new moon I've seen in ages! Yahweh be with you, Sue (1 observer)

Shalom b'shem YAHWEH YAHSHUA I stepped out on our western facing deck at 9:04pm in Sioux City, IA and sighted the crescent moon immediately. Hal'luYah! and I give thanks for this site to report such news. ShemuYahu (1 observer)

New crescent shaped like a lop-sided smile was not seen until 9:10 p.m. because of clouds. It was still high and bright, but soon went behind the next cloud bank.  RY (18 observers)

Rolla, Missouri

Even though there has been a reoport I just wanted to let everyone know that the moon was seen here in Rolla, Mo despite the clouds and rain sprinkles. Praise Yahweh, the clouds parted and the moon was seen by Wayne Copik, Marilyn Taylor, Phyliss Gregg, Ken and Margaret Hawley, Delwin and Christina Wilson. (7 observers)

La Grange, North Carolina

It had been partly cloudy and hazy all day. We did not think we would be blessed to see the crescent this month, but just chanced to see it before it slipped behind some clouds, about 8:45 pm. Praise Him because it was the first time in 2 months we had been able to see it. CF (5 observers)
